im a bass head but look for good SQ as well. i have about 300 USD to spend on some cans. must be closed backs seeing as they will be used in public ALOT. started looking at the beast by DRE mixr headphones but im not really sure if i should invest that much money on them and if they are worth it. also preferrably has the dj style "one ear listening" for monitoring. so get ther MIXR's or something else?? THX

I would go for the ATH-M50, I've heared them before and they sound quite nice and provide a decent noise cancellation plus most places are selling them for 150$ also.

It's not called noise cancellation. It's called Isolation, and Noise cancellation is a different technology
