Hi all, which one of the best, dunu trident/ares or Hippo VB batch 3?

i found Hippo VB batch 3 for 500k idr(~$55)....

I prefer some deep, tight, speedy, powerful and punchy bass, nice mid, and it doesn't hurt my ears on the highs..

The VBs have lots of spikes in the higher frequencies so it's much harsher. Tridents on the other hand has more non-fatiguing highs. However, bass quality, extension and overall clarity is definitely better on the VBs.  As a whole, the VB is in a different class to the Tridents imho.

Yes the eterna v1 is worth it imo, although $80 is a little high. But considering how hard it is to find the v1 now days I think you should snatch it up. The VB and Eterna are both great <$100 IEMs with lots of bass, but the VB is drier with better clarity while the Eterna sounds fuller and more lush. The VB also sounds more distant whereas the Eterna sounds more intimate. Notes are thicker on the Eterna but the VB is more prone to harsh highs. I personally prefer the Eterna more as I like its presentation more than the VB.
