IEMs that sound like orthos?

I recently purchased the hifiman HE-500 after years exclusively using my UE TF10s and I was completely blown away by the sheer superiority in every quality of sound I could imagine.  My biggest concern with my purchase is that I can't listen to the HE-500 on-the-go, but I am sad to say that I have inadvertently spoiled myself, and that I can hardly stand to listen to what used to be my favorite phones in the TF10.  I suppose this might be a physical (or monetary) impossibility, but are there any IEMs with the signature and overall quality of the HE-500?

Good question. Timbre-wise, the Heir Audio 4.A is closer to the T50RP than to any other headphones I tried (though with more extension on both sides), but the T50RP is a closed orthodynamic. I'm not sure you'll have much luck finding an IEM that sounds like a pair of open-back headphones, but you'll probably find Head-Fiers who disagree. At any rate, I'm subscribing to this thread. cool.gif
