How do you travel with your 3k setups?

I recently put together my first true portable. I'll be using a IMod 256GB with a Pico Slim and Heir Audio 8.A's. Quite an investment and I want to make sure it gets treated well.

 

Just wonder how people travel with their setups? I'm a bit weary to leave it sitting in a backpack pocket. Do allot of people use the pelican cases? What would be the smallest pelican that could hold the double stacked source/amp along with the customs comfortably?
