Yes...I know. Anyone who has looked at the DBI threads here on Head-Fi are probably thinking this.. "another freaking replacement pad thread?!" and I agree. There are others - but they are old and no questions were answered, at least not the true question some threads asked. Are there any at all replacement pads for the (hot, sticky, foamy) pads on the DBI 700/750s that aren't going to cost the price of the headphones? I got these for a pretty good price but don't really want to pay $40 to get a set of replacement pads to my door. Obviously I get what I pay for (in the pads) but I am going to buy a set of CALs (per Head-Fi recommendation of course) or the new Creative HN 900 if their audio quality is comparable to the CALs, since I would rather have a pair of noise cancelling headphones. If mods and such think I should've posted in an older thread, so be it, my bad, I'll do that for sure. Anyways..back to the question
tl;dr
Are their cheap replacement pads for the DBI 700/750s? Pads that fit those include some German Maestros, Beyerdynamics, Denon D2000.
I just noticed the last thread on this is actually only two months old..sigh..but no answers in it. I'm at a forum posting ethics crossroads :) Decided to go ahead and post and they can be merged I guess if that is what should be done!

If I can't find decent replacements for a decent price..I may end up selling these at cost to a head-fier or I'll just put up with them or do the "sock mod" haha and getting the CAL!s or Creative HN 900s.
Thanks for reading this convoluted post. I wrote this in like three separate settings.
