solid amplifier Siliconray F-A1 for Beyerdynamic 600 ohm

Hi

I am looking for a solid amplifier for my dt 990/880 600 ohm. I tried Lovely Cube but it was too dark sounding for my taste and very bad match with 990, I thought of Little Dot mk V but it is said to be similar sounding to Lovely Cube.

So finally I have just ordered Siliconray FA-1. Has anybody heard that amp?

BTW the 600 ohm Beyer headphones sound great with my Xonar Essence ST that against popular assumptions amplifies them adequately, especially dt 990 that react great to dolby headphone 3, I am looking for such bright sound like this or like my creek obh-21se with dt 990 250 ohm.

You can try SPL Auditor, or even the Phonitor.

I am just playing with my FA1 from Siliconray and can recommend it already to all Beyerdynamic DT990/DT880 users. Replacable opamps MC33078N. I already switched to my fav. LM4562. Amp is on the bright side, but not as bright as my OBH-21SE or xonar essence or Little Dot DAC II's embedded amp. I hear no sibilance in human speech on DT 990. Bass of DT 990 600ohm is tamed tight. DT990 600/250 sound better with this amp than with tubes to me.. This amp is opposite to the heavy dark Black Cube. Not for heavy bass lovers though. It feels that the amp was designed with Beyerdynamic in mind to clean the sound a little.

I would also like to hear someone's opinion of MC33078N, I replaced them after 5 minutes. Are they neutral opamps like LM4562?
