What kind of music do you hear, and what do you want more in music? More detail?

Neither, heard both, both were awful, try Sennheiser HD 25 1-II, Shure SRH-840, Beyerdynamic DT770, Ultrasone HFI-580. Just use the search button for these headphones and there is plenty of information about them, maybe you'll find a different pair also. happy hunting!

I'd like sound to be well balanced ,for example to listen to Radiohead, and bass should be good but not overwhelming.

Try his suggestions, or you can also try the Senn's lineup as well. Let me be the first to say I don't mind the bose AE2 at all, I didn't audition them yet, but I have to say that from the less hate it gets, it might be worth it. It has a warm sound signature, if you like that and hate it being too neutral, then you could try the ae2. Does bose deserve the hate? YES, does it need people defending it? NO, why? Just be happy they're still making products and selling them, if they didn't, then that would be a time where the company needs consumer's help.

I tried all of Bose's new lineup at the Bose store. They honestly sounded mediocre, not terrible, but just not up to par with headphones in a similar price range. But one thing is for sure not everything they make is bad, they do have some products that I thought were good.

The Image One are decent—a little overpriced for their quality.  The AE2 are quite nice, the price is right, they have a very warm signature, not too crisp or sharp but warm and fun.  They're built well and are incredibly comfortable.  I'd check out the Shure SRH-840 as well, maybe the Sennheiser HD280Pro, too.

If you were just limited to the Bose and Klipsch (I know you chose the HFI-580), I'd honestly go Bose if you were looking for a neutral sound. The Klipsch  Image and Reference One are bass monsters.
