Anyone using JH16 with Fostex HP-P1?

Considering purchasing Fostex unit for my HP-P1 as the choice seems pretty limitied

when it comes to portable DAC/AMP combos.. Any experience?

HP-P1 is a Fostex unit. What is it you intend to buy to go with it ?

Hahahah sorry I'm an idiot... I meant to say: I am considering purchasing the Fostex HP-P1 to use with my JH16's :)

Thank you, That sounds very promising. How would you compare it to the SR71B?

I preferred iPod line out to SR71-B to iPod usb to HP-P1 but the best was iPod usb to HP-P1 line out to SR71-B but that is too bulky for me. I'm hoping that Ray will come out with a matching balanced dac that will also do iPod usb.

Cheers, mate it is definitely an amp I am considering (SR71-B) was the benefit of the added DAC that was edging me towards the Fostex, but interesting that you still preferred the SR71-B. Thanks I won't dismiss the idea of a SR71-B just yet then.
