The hook on the desk idea sounds nice. I might give that a try if I can find something that meets my tastes for looks. The one pair I do leave out uses my computer speaker as a headphone stand for now. Unless I think the hook/hanger blends in and looks nice, I probably wont bother to change it up.

Best closed headphones I had heard - very flat response, almost no midrange distortion, very easy to drive (good for portable), good soundstage (definately better than K240), good isolation, but...

Overall excellent buds, very good sound quality, especially for their price, the medium set of tips fits exactly in my ears and provides a near perfect seal. Bass is very detailed, but not...

I'll keep this very short. They are very smooth sounding. Treble toned down so not so good for rock but have a magic about them that makes them better than mark 2. I use them with a '89/'90...

Bought these on whim, for your basic train ride to work I don't mind. But its far from being the best I have own.

First, I should note that I auditioned these both straight out of the box, without any break-in time and then later after 53 hours of break-in. Recent scientific studies have shown definite...

Mine are always put away in the case that they came with. V-moda did an amazing job on it, very protective and well made.

Good idea with the spring clamps.
If any of you guys have an Odd Lot store in your area they sell a 16 pack of those spring clamps in 4 sizes for $6.50. They're either labeled as Olympia Tools or another brand.
You get 2 extra large clamps, 2 large, 2 medium, 4 small, 6 mini.
Thats 4 clamps you can use for stands and a bunch left over....for $6.50.
Kylerk.......I found that hanging the ART series Audio Technica cans from the wires is not a good idea.
I have a wooden stand designed that will hold from behind the section where the suspension connects to....of course this would also solve the problem of a normal design headphone getting it's padding marked from the weight of hanging on a stand.

unused guitar stand for my unused headphones and main one(s) on my desk. gonna build a shelf or something soon after i buy more fiberglass for my room and other materials in due time. i know my room dead sounding as it is but i want to make it even more dead if possible since fiberglass is insanely cheap.
What are you making noise baffles /acoustic tiles you hang on the wall?
I couldn't live with all that itch floating around me.
