Bottlehead has other amps that can handle low impedance cans well.

TSIG, did you end up getting the Bottlehead Crack + Speedball or just sticking with the Woo6?

Just bought a Crack with Speedball from a fellow head-fi-er and spent 3 hours with my HD-650s glued to my head. Amazing pairing. Prior to this I was using a pretty decent Yamaha receiver, which i thought drove them pretty well. I was also able to spend some time listening to Woo WA-3 and WA-6 with HD650s at the NY hi-fi show. Didn't like the sound with the WA-3 (flat, uninvolving) but really liked the WA-6. Have to say, though, that I love the Bottlehead (although would also love to have that WA-6 to do a proper bake-off). The Bottlehead brings the HD650s to a whole different level and I'm hearing detail in music that I hadn't heard before. Lots of fun to listen to. Don't actually know what the Crack sounds like without the Speedball, though.

I ended up going with the WA6.  Considering picking up the Crack + Speedball soon, however.

Kind of off topic but i noticed you guys mentioned Monoprice cables so i'm wondering if there's a difference between these 2.

The second is a 75ohm coaxial - I use one to connect a source to the S/PDIF coaxial input on my dac. I don't think I'd necessarily use it for a regular stereo RCA (aside from needing two of them). They are built well - but I don't think offer you anything extra over what you have.

For interconnect you cannot beat DIY. Problem with cheap cable is when the connection solder go bad. No human is paid to solder those 3 bux cable, they are certainly crap. DIY, buy neutrik or rean rca plug and some decent cable and you will have a solid reliable cable.
