What audio stuff have you scored for free?

Scored a Marantz CD-25 from a dumpster diving expedition. You'd think something as fragile as a cd laser pickup would never work again after that, but it did, and still does! :)

 

Also got some paradigm speakers.

 

Anybody else scored something relatively nice for free?

My entire speaker set up was scored for free. One of my Furman conditioners was free. 

 

My Pioneer 255R and Marantz 2238 were free as well.

My Sansui G-5700 was free, and my Polk Monitor 40s were almost free. Basically ended up paying only $5 for them.

A totally generous Head-fi'er gave me some Beyerdynamic DT770 Pro's. They need a little work, but they are entirely functional.

I think this was at the last Head-Fi meet in Lawrence, Kansas.  I had my usual rig set up, which included a Sony das-702es DAC and a half-dead (played CD's only) DVD player as transport.  Some fellow said he'd be right back, disappeared outside, and came back in with a large box.  "Dennis, you need this!" he said.  I took out the contents - a PS Audio Lambda transport!  I was so grateful, that I gave him two amps on the spot, and one of them was a single-ended tube amp, which sounded awfully sweet.  No regrets - I use the Sony/PS Audio combo to this day.

Won a pair of dunu iems although I've yet to receive them, should still be coming through the mail.(although its been about a month)

 

I also bet a friend Giants would win the Superbowl, so he's gonna pick up this EP from Feint, a dnb artist, for me.

Recently a  pair of MTPC from Monster. 

 

Back in the day when I sold audio gear, a customer gave me a Velodyne F1200 sub when he bought a new Definitive PF1800 from me. 

 

Last but not least, a pair of Martin Logan Aerius i from Martin Logan (Disclamer, at the time I think I had to sell like 100K worth of MLs to get them)
