Livewires MCX connectors. Who's used them?

I want to make a cable for my Livewires. I purchased some MCX connectors from Digi Key, but they're not quite the same as those used on the stock Livewires cable, the barrel is much smaller, meaning I wasn't able to fit both wires into it. Also, there's no place to solder the ground to.

Does anyone have any experience using MCX connectors? Which ones did you buy?

Thanks

im not expert in these things but my understanding is the live feed is connected to the cenre pin and the ground is connected to the casing.

The livewires/fidelity use the mcx connectors. Can be found on ebay for £1 each.

You can get any earphone cable, even ultimate ear cables and chop off the connectors. Then solder one wire inside the connector and solder the other wire outside the connector. If you look at the connector on the stock cable, you will know where to solder. Its very easy to do.  Might try doing a custom cable for my earphones. Beats paying $30, plus $35 shipping to uk, plus $ 35 tax and duty charge.
