Hey, I was wondering if sound cards that have separate headphone/stereo-outs, like the Auzentech X-Fi Forte, can output different sources/signals? I would imagine so but I'd like to ask yall and see some explanation. The card has a dedicated headphone out with a pretty beefy amplifier and then there is a separate 7.1 VGA/serial type of output. As well as an optical-out. Are these outputs able to compute different signals at the same time? I ask because I'm getting into DJing and ideally I'm looking for something that I can plug my headphones in to cue music as a separate device and then have a different 'master' line for my speakers... question is, would this card achieve such a task? Thanks for any help!
