I didn't get that far as I have never even handled the DBA-02 MK I, but I can see how it would be a problem. Again, another reason the CK10 has (even trampled underfoot), remained my favourite earphone. I'd love to replace it with something a bit more comfortable, though.

hmph. straight plug again. what a bummer. (need to recable lol).

Wonder if they fixed the crappy quality issues (incl strain reliefs, cable, and channel imbalance problems lol) and if the angle of the nozzle is the same or not (was too steep for me, couldn't use them)

and got a better distributor (waves at dmitry from gd-audiobase)

that cable does look thicker and the plug too. seems a direct attack to the ck10

Might have a chance in near future to try the MKII as well. Hopefully it will happen. Anyway, just auditioned the new CK100 Pro and CKW1000ANV a few days ago. You should try CK100 Pro if you haven't, shigzeo, but I think you can totally skip the CKW1000ANV (totally uninspiring).

Oh, I don't have them yet. I just found those pictures somewhere. If I do get them earlier than you, I'll definitely A/B them against the original DBA and let you know what I think.

Everything does look more robust, but the flat (or square?) cables worry me. I have not been getting along with the flat cables on my BA200 as well as I hoped.

Probably not but there's many times the ba's internal volume available inside that housing. I suspect that's how Jays does it. They do look lots better and more the business.bigsmile_face.gif

I would love to try the CK100Pro as they look more comfortable (my biggest worry) and pretty robust. 

 

NOt sure what I think about the flat cables quoted here. We'll see.
