Hey i have a the Sennheiser pc 350 head set and recently the left cups volume has gone down and its quite distracting, The headset is not on warranty any more and I've read that people have had this issue and its sometimes caused by the volume control. I just brought a mixamp and was thinking of cutting the wire of the pc 350 shorter and removing the volume control.
Pretty much does anyone know if it will cause any problems if i cut the volume control off? e.g. mic wont work or sound wont work.
