Famous people with audiophile headphones/mics - Page 4

With that said, many companies (such as Sensaphonic) will make custom fit ear pieces for your Shure earphones... likewise Etymotic does for theirs. And other companies will do custom in-ear casts for other brands... I think 1964 will do full custom remolds for Ultimate Ears (among others), for instance. Essentially turning them into custom In-ears.

I can't watch through an hour and a half of video on a band man. And no, I don't like them. I listended to the Dark Side of the Moon and some others, and it didn't click for me. The only song I listen too is Breathe(reprise) or Time as it is also known as. Do I like it? No, I use it as a benchmark track for audio. I like audio journies that take you through space and time. But Pink Floyd didn't work for me. and yes...i had CDs to demo from.

If i had teh money yes. but first...an HD800 or Audeuze LCD comes first. but no...is it due to the focus on custom IEM's in this thread? ...this thread just went off topic and went into custom iem's as a mix of my question of famous people and iem's..and famous people usually use customs.

i see lot of movie studios using fostex or beyerdynamics. i remember seeing the mastering engineer for the big game Skyrim using a pair of AKG 240DF(this engineer obviously has good taste). other studios i see either k271 or k240 studio lot but don't get why. for famous people i forgot what rock star it was but i seen lot of artists use the 240 sextetts during the 70's not only for recording use but home hi-fi use.the 240 sextetts were actually very popular with lot of aritists/musicians back in the day but not much people owned any cause they were very expensive back then is another reason why only studios and artists/muscians only were owning pairs of sextetts.

i see beyer's so much it's not even funny. it's funny to know that deep inside. as head fi'ers and music lovers(i see you don't prefer the term audioophile) we use more expensive stuff than them. i see Beyer DT770's most of the time and i can guess/bet they are probably 32-80 ohm versions :/ worth at about $180......pffffft... ok . we head fi'ers can just go talk about the HD800, STAX SR009 and Audeuze research labs LCD 3's while your at it.
