Famous people with audiophile headphones/mics - Page 3

Err, wouldn't it be better to get endorsement from people who know their stuff, rather than just people who are famous?

E.g. I'd be more interested in knowing that the producer behind my favourite albums relaxes to a good Senn 650, rather than knowing what headphones Anne Hathaway finds acceptable. Sure, in both cases they probably have the means to buy expensive, high end gear--but one's more qualified to judge audio gear, no?

I know Eminem worked with Jim Jonsin on "Recovery" - don't know if Jim did the actual work (or if it was Finatik and Zac or other production team people)

^ Sensaphonics are one of the most popular monitors, but they aren't really marketed to audiophiles, so they aren't as known with the head fi crowd.

thank you, how popular would you say these two companies are? would you recommend tehm for music listening?

1964 has a very good reputation - great for general listening.

Livewires did, but I do not know since they split with their previous partner. They would be less useful for listening in general, being geared towards active monitors on stage.
