Dear Head-fiers,

I have been looking for a secondhand amp to replace my marantz pm7003. At the moment the options seem to be a 10years old arcam A85 for 350euro's or a 4 year old Opera Consonance A100 linear for 300euro's. My question about the A85 would be whether you guys think buying a 10year old amp is a smart thing to do or not and whether it is a fair price. Since there is hardly anything to find about the consonance any opninion about it would be greatly appreciated. I am not dying to get rid of my marantz so if you think both amps won't be a huge upgrade I would like to know that as well. Any opinion is welcome!
