Need Assistance with DAC choice, options inside

Thread Starter

Long have I searched for a DAC upgrade for my current pieces of gear. With a Beyerdynamic T1, soon to be coupled with a Woo Audio WA2 Amplifier, I find myself stuck in a rut in choosing the DAC for my system.

I have pretty much narrowed it down to two choices.

Yulong D18

Benchmark DAC1

However, I fear that there are more DACs out there around 800-1100 dollars that would suit my needs.

First:

It must have usb input. It also must be relatively neutral and detailed, but I don't want them to be so revealing that it will ruin some of my favorite songs.

It also must be capable of great soundstaging.

So, if I may ask, are there any other dacs in this price range that'll suit my setup?

I thank you kindly for your help.

I have the Benchmark Dac-1 USB.  While it is quite detailed and not treble-shy, it has yet to ruin my favorite recordings with the HD 800.

I've heard good things about Lavry DA11.  You can get one used in your price range.

Wyred4Sound DAC1 (new) or DAC2 (used)

Anedio D1 (if you can find it used)

Violectric V800
