Howdy All,
 
Just an update that HeadRoom has posted our lab's audio performance measurement specs for the new Shure headphones today.
.....And they look purty good! biggrin.gif

The distortion graphs do not look very good (>1%), and are apparently the same for both. But HeadRoom graphs are often unreliable.

Indeed, the THD definitely seems a bit overly energized for some tastes around here at HeadRoom, but our in-house testers who typically lean towards preferring an "analytical" presentation found these to be very well-detailed and engaging. Via some of our hot-rodded tube amp rigs, the SRH1840 sounded particularly galvanizing to a good portion of our team.

Any chance you could get him to do some waterfall(CSD?) graphs like Purrin does? They seem to show a lot that your graphs don't. By the way thanks a lot to you and Tyll for the graphs, you guys do some good work.

i know frequency graphs don't mean much but am i only one disappointed to see a drop off after 10khz? wheres the air?! i iz a sad panda seeing no air response.

Many thanks! .... Well, i know both Tyll and ourselves are intent on re-working our respective platforms in order to be able to offer waterfall mapping and the like but frankly i'm not sure how close either of us are to that goal.  Purrin does indeed do some mighty fine work himself! smile.gif
