Hello to all. This is the first post of mine on this forum.
Currently, I am using the headphone-out of an AV amp Pioneer SC LX-82 as a source to feed Sennheiser HD650.
The problem is I found the sound is becoming less satisfactory recently, though i cannot clearly state in which aspect.
The current setting for listening to music with headphone is
Desktop PC (m-audio audiophile 2496, spdif out) -> Pioneer LX82 (headphone out) -> HD650
If a DAC is added, it would be
PC (spdif or usb) -> DAC -> HD650
Would adding a DAC to the system improve the sound? Perhaps, the choice would be Lavry DA11 or Benchmark DAC1.
