Most comfortable over-ear headphones under $100?

I'm looking for the most comfortable headphones I can get for under $100. Any suggestions?

Heya,

Criteria other than comfortable? No one asks for painful to wear headphones. So it's probably important to know what kind of stuff you want to listen to, to narrow things down.

Very best,

Actually, I'm mainly looking for comfort for this purchase. I'm not saying that I want something that sounds bad, but I understand that my options might be limited with this budget so I'm willing to compromise on sound. If I have to say something, I'd have to say that I'm looking for a neutral sound, but I wouldn't put too much emphasis on that.

Examples of headphones I've tried that you guys may have experience with:

HiFiMan HE-500: both heavy and clunky feeling. not comfortable.

Beyerdynamic DT 880 (though worn only briefly): very comfortable

Anything on-ear or in-ear: not comfortable.

For this reason I'm considering this: http://www.amazon.com/Beyerdynamic-DTX-910-Headphones-Portable/dp/B0032EQRR6/. However, I was wondering if those more experienced with headphones in this range had some advice or suggestions.

I understand that the DT 440 at $160 might be just what I need if I'm willing to stretch my budget some, but for now I'd prefer to stick with the under $100 range.

Of course everyone and everyone's head and even the idea of comfort is different for most people. I tried on the Sony's in BB and thought they were okay for comfort. I would have rated them 7 out of 10 for comfort alone. Now while they I also tried on another pair of phones that I would give a 9 of out of 10. That was the Bose AE2...

I didn't think they were the best sounding set of cans but they were decent. I'm not a big fan of bose. I've replaced a lot of bose speakers in cars and they use a lot of cheap materials like paper that does not last. I don't know about the build quality of their headphones. My 2c
