Which headphone have you enjoyed the most, regardless of anything besides your enjoyment of the cans.

Stax Omega 2 Mk1. Especially nice with Blue Hawaii but also very good and euphonic with a transformer box and a pair of tube monoblocks.

Also very much liked the SR-001 Mk2 despite the awful comfort and the SR-X Mk3 Pro, which is a lot like the ultimate Grado.

MDR-7506.  I haven't heard my pair in years, but I spent so much time with it, re-discovering music I thought I knew, and learning a lot about my own music, that I feel like no matter how far or how many times I upgrade my audio gear or even how much my tastes will change it will always be a favorite of mine.

Grado RS-1. I've owned the D7000, LCD-2, GS-1000 and a lot of other nice phones but keep going back to my RS-1.

For the overall experience (sound, versatility, comfort, looks), my D5000.

I just can't choose a favorite, because each of my headphones have flaws.

But I enjoy them so much.

The Audio Technica AD700s amaze and captivats me every time I hear them with classical and jazz music. They just sound so open and put me inside of the recording. But they lack bass.

The Audio Technica M50s blow me away with its powerful albeit slightly boomy bass. But their soundstage is so closed in.

They are almost complete opposites, so they kind of complete each other.

Ah, I'm rambling. I'm just going to go back to enjoying my cans.atsmile.gif

My HD 202's because their cheap, they sound decent and I can throw them around without having to worry they'll break.
