Help with new portable rig

Hello,

 

I'm a real newbie in the world of audio, and I've decided to get a good portable rig. I just ordered Etymotic HF5s, since I believe they fit my needs, considering I want isolation and good sound =]. I was just wondering if it would be decent enough to run these straight out of an ipod touch 2g. If not, is it worth it to purchase a new source/amp? I'm willing to spend $50-$100.

Cables and tips, amps last if at all. The touch should have no problem driving them.
