I created a post about this a few years ago and completely lost interest in this since it was going to be quite the task to undertake. Since then my SE530's took a dump and I warrantied them back to Shure and ended up getting a brand new set of SE535's. Since I have received my 535's I had been on a search for the proper connectors to basically do a DIY wireless setup. The only problem is, I have no idea what I am doing or need to do. My father inlaw is very electronics savy and works with soldering computer components, so he said to figure out how and where the wires need to go and he could do it. Here is a pic of what I have..
After we cut off the old connectors and strip back the covering, where on the new shure style connectors do we solder the wires? What problems might we run into? Thanks in advance for the input.
