Hey guys

 

I am looking for an mp3 player for my car to replace my ipod. 

 

I have spend around £1K re doing all the audio and the ipod video 30gb i use as a source is a nightmare updating (i dont use itunes for my music). So to solve this I want a cheap, low capacity mp3 player with the best line out (currently only has an ipod lead to link to stereo so will need to use line in on the head unit) that i can drag and drop mp3 files onto.

 

I really dont want a loss in audio quality after spending so much so id rather deal with the issues if it means compromising quality, thanks for any help guys.

 

Also as the headunit has a USB in would i get equal quality by just throwing tracks on a memory stick and playing them off there? I tried once and it didnt sound as good as the ipod, which also dosent seem to sound as good as CD. Thought they are all 320 MP3 files.

 

 

Thanks for any tips guys i know this more headphone audio but thought someone may be able to help with the sources part at least.
