Would it make sense? Preamping a Tripath

Ciao Everyone,

 

After a long break I have finally decided to spend some more money into speakers and I bought myself a pair of Diamonds 10.1 and a DTA-100a Amp (Tripath TK2050).

 

Now since I have not much use of my little dot mk III would make sense to use it as a pre amp ? Would I get any benefits ?

 

For The moment source would be a samsung tv or my mediacenter connected to a Beresford dac via optical cable.

 

I am not too familiar with these things but I am willing to learn from your experience.
