Hey everyone,

 

I'm looking for a pair of portable headphones for a friend. He listens to classical, jazz, and older rock/pop music so he'd like a warm, but not bass-heavy, sound signature. Intimate mids are desired.

 

He currently has a pair of JVC S700s, which are good in every respect except for sound (compact, good build quality, comfort--circumaural, isolation). I'd like to find something similar in quality with better sound for under $80.
