It's depend how much you are willing to spend but for $100 plus Yamaha EPH100, JVC FXT90, UETF10Pro, Klipsch Image X10, MTP Gold, JVC FX500 and Radius DDM are recommended. BTW under $100 Sony EX310, Turbine are good buy and both offers tight puncby bass and shows good details in mids, highs.

Which one of the above would you prefer?

I will choose Yamaha EPH100, FXT90, UETF10Pro, MTP Gold for further improvement with AMPs help and if tight on budget then EX310, Turbine will greatly improve through AMPs. BTW dock cable is important here and Pure Cryo or SXC(18AWG, 22AWG)are better to expand soundstage, more midrange details and overall dynamic and punchy soundsignature.

What about Yamaha EPH-100 vs. PureSound ClarityOne? Those are the two I've come down to.
