I've been interested in trying out qaac lately, and reading the documentation at the website http://sites.google.com/site/qaacpage/home, I've come up with the following settings:
-V127 --silent - -o %d
That creates TVBR files with ~320kbps. For ~256kbps files, you'd want to use something more like -V113.
If using the included refalac to convert from FLAC to ALAC, I've just used:
--silent - -o %d
Anyone that uses qaac, am I missing anything? And if not, hopefully this helps out anyone wanting to use it with foobar2000.
