Has anyone had any good experiences buying DAPs from Amazon.co.uk? Reason I ask is because I seen the Samsung Galaxy S wifi 4.0 for sale on Amazon website and I am really wanting to buy it but I have been reading horror stories about the courier service Amazon use. Please advise.

Bought these on whim, for your basic train ride to work I don't mind. But its far from being the best I have own.

First, I should note that I auditioned these both straight out of the box, without any break-in time and then later after 53 hours of break-in. Recent scientific studies have shown definite...

A very all-round headphone for me. Just the right one to take on the go or on holiday. Also as a DJ, nice noice isolation. Very durable so you don't have to wonder if it will break if you throw...

This quick review is done after a few hours of listening. I bought them from B&H for the decent sum of 150$. If you've done your research you'll find out that Ultrasone HPs are known for their...

I auditioned the SRH-1840 straight out of the box, and was unsatisfied with the sound, so I decided to give them a period of break-in. Recent scientific studies have shown definite differences...

Bought loads of stuff from amazon, not had a problem. Even if there is customer service is brilliant.

Nice to know that there are no issues as I have ordered a Samsung Galaxy S wifi 4.0 as I gave up with the Wifi 3.6 version. Looking forward to installing voodoo for the Wolfson DAC on the SGS wifi 4.0 :)

Amazon is awesome, I purchase through them as much as possible. If the item is directly from amazon (lots of items are from other sellers on there) you can return it within a certain amount of time (I believe 30 days) even if it has been opened and used. Ive had no issues returning items I was unhappy with, even after using them for a week. Enjoy the new player!
One of the best retailers in the UK apart from Play.com you could also try advancedmp3players

Amazon & Play are the best!!
If you are not sure, Buy products which are sold&shipped directly by amazon.
Although 99% of the 3rd party retailers in amazon are reliable and offers exceptional service.
Customer feedback also helps.

I usually visit the advancedmp3players shop whenever I visit Edinburgh. It's a really good shop with first class service. They even let me demo the products at the shop. Unfortunately, advancedmp3players don't sell the Samsung Galaxy DAPs so Amazon is the next best thing as I have avoided buying from Currys/PC World as I find them dodgy.

I received delivery of my Samsung Galaxy S wifi 4.0 today only to see that the box has already been opened as the Samsung sticker that seals the box has been broken. So far the SGS 4.0 looks fine except all the default music has been removed. Its as if someone has had this before but sent it back and the retail company have reformatted the drive before reselling. I'll check to see if everything is working though before filing a complaint.
