Good dubstep/techno cans? - Page 2

The thing is that no matter what you pick, it'll have some kind of "flaw," and you have to determine whether it's acceptable.  For example, DT-770s feel a little sluggish on more aggressive electronic numbers, as if they can't quite keep up with the music and involve you in it, and they don't have as much of a mid-bass punch.  Lower end Ultrasones won't have quite the sub-bass presence of the others.  The Denon D1100 will have that problem as well, though perhaps even more so, whereas the D2000 will be a little more along the lines of the DT-770, but less so, though they don't have quite the sub-bass of the DT-770.

everyone will have a different opinion on which is the best headphone.  I like all the headphones suggested, you can't go wrong with any of them.  My preferences :  ultrasone for dubstep,  denon for house/trance.
