That is a good point, although it is subjective, and may be different for each person (or even the same over time).

thanks for all the info guys. I decided to get the Dt 990 and a E9 to start off with.

Good choice, i'm using that setup right now and i love it.

I got them today. I plugged them into the headphone out of the audio 4 dj just to see , and they sounded really low, almost worse then my $79 headset . So i went out of the rca out of audio 4 dj to the E9. Freakin Hell Yes best sound i have heard in along time.
