Under 50$ headphones: Superlux HD668B vs Samson SR850 vs Pioneer SE-M 390

Hi, everyone. I've been researching the web for the past week in order to find a pair of full size headphones, seen a lot of possible good buys and gradually eliminated most off my list, and i'm currently left with 3 models which i can get at roughly the same price, meaning 42 $, or 32 €. I don't have a background with good headphones, basically all my older headphones were cheap, no-name and gaming oriented. I don't want to listen to my music on such poor quality headphones, so i decided to buy a new pair, something with the best bang for the buck, but under 50$. I don't have a bigger budget, i live in Romania, and wages here don't really allow you to buy 200-300$ headphones. tongue_smile.gif On that note, sorry if my english isn't perfect, not a native speaker here. So, back on topic, the 3 models i have to decide between are: Pioneer SE-M 390, seems just right, balanced sound, and a Brand i can recognize (most reviews depicted a fairly good sound, one that i may enjoy). Then there are Superlux HD668B and Samson SR850, which are basically the same, but with differences...? Could anyone really point out the differences in sound and which one would suit my music preferences better? I couldn't get much help on the forums in my country, so I came here in search for answers. The music I listen to is composed of rock, but mostly ballads or guitar-heavy songs, i also love acoustic music, like Vangelis, Kitaro, etc. I also listen to 80's rock alot, some classical music, love the sound of piano, or violin in slow songs. To make it even simpler, here are some prerequisites for the headphones: Lux Aeterna - Clint Mansell (LOTR remix) - needs to sound "epic", listened on some Sony MDR-200 or Philips SHP 5401 headphones, and the epicness was gone frown.gif. Pink Floyd - Comfortably Numb, High Hopes, Cluster One, etc. need to sound clear and vibrant, Buckethead - Soothsayer (great song btw.) needs to sound clear, without being over the top on the fast, high electric guitar sounds. Yiruma - River flows in You (soft piano song) need to sound soft and clear. My Dying Bride - For my fallen Angel - the violin must sooth my ears, and not be too bright to take. Also I don't have an amp, and the headphones will mostly be used on my laptop/pc/mp3 player, at home, so they need to have a decent sound even without amplification. I'm really sorry if i'm too picky for such a low budget, but i thought maybe saying exactly what i want could help with a recommendation. Thank you so much for any comment, I will really appreciate it.

There is also the CAD mh310 which is a Superlux 662f. It is a closed headphone where as the 668b is semi open. From what I have read they have similar sound but the 668b may have a bit stronger bass and treble. The 662f is supposed to be closer to a "flat" frequency response. The CAD mh310 are on ebay new for 39 us. I should be getting mine soon and can give you my impressions. I am not familiar with the Pioneers at all. In that price range the two biggest suggestions seem to be one of the Superlux or if strong bass is more important the Panasonic rp-htf600 which I have and did like after I modded it a bit.
