New to Hi-Fi, hoping to get a few pointers in the portable department.

Thread Starter

I was recently given a pair of Monster Turbine Copper Edition and I was wondering what the people here at Head-Fi would recommend in terms of source and amplification if it was at all nececcary.

Currently I'm using:

  • A Samsung Nexus S 4G rooted and Voodoo'ed
  • The Copper Turbines
  • And I am streaming all music using Google Music due to the 16Gb limit on space of my phone.

Should I move my library onto my phone? All were uploaded as 320KBs mp3 files.

Thank you for any suggestions!

If you want more space on your phone, you should buy a 32gb microsd card. They're really cheap nowadays.

About file compression... I definitely think 320kbps is ideal for mobile usage.
