Ey i'm trying to find a great set of headphones for around 0$-175$ maybe 200$... i love bass but i dont want anything to greatly over powered ive been looking into sennheiser HD 598 and HD 558, also audio technica aht-m50's, Bose MDR-XB700 and 500, and thats it if u guys could help it will be greatly appreciated!!! I want headphones that cover my whole ear and stay comfortable for long uses, i like to listen to techno and indie music!! thanks!

good luck finding headphones for 0$

 

On a more serious note, the SONY MDR-XB500's are great for techno. The m50's are more of an all-rounder, and the sennheisers need an amp and are open, so not good for outdoor use.

hahaha thanks! do u have any advice on any other headphones would pretty much fit my likings?!

Would you be willing to buy a portable amp (like a FiiO E6 or JDS Labs CMoyBB with an iPod), or do you want to run it without an amp?

The M50 runs well without an amp but is better with amping, and the Sony XB500/XB700 also run relatively well unamped. The Sennheisers probably wouldn't be a good choice unamped.

ohkayy thanks!!!!  a boat load hajaja... do u have any other suggestions on headphones? it doesnt necesarrily have to be bass articulated i might also want something all around..?
