Is the Philips GoGear series or Creative M100/M300 any good?

I have been looking for a music player for quite awhile now, as I am selling away my iPod Touch 4G due to lack of space (8GB).

I've been considering the Cowon X7 for its 160GB,but then I'm kinda on a tight budget now... the X7 is priced at abt 470 Singapore dollars.

I could not find many reviews on the Philips GoGear series, so I thought I'd ask if anyone here has tried them. I think the Philips GoGear Muse 8GB looks pretty attractive as it has expandable memory up to 32GB, so that would be a total of 40GB. It retails here for 199 Singapore dollars. xD

The Creatives are around 100 dollars and also come with a MicroSD slot. xD

Also, how are the Philips GoGear Ariaz and Vibe?

Help me please! thanks! :)

The Philips Muse are good sounding if use EQ setting but Sandisk Sansa Fuze+ are even better sounding DAPs. BTW if you can find Sony X1060 for reasonable price then it's highly recommended for soundquality alone and Cowon J3 are good buy too.

I think the Vibe is a pretty good player.  It's very basic in nature...screen resolution is among the worst out there...but the sound is pretty good.  If you like to add some thump to your bass then turn on the Fullsound.  You will lose some detail and the crispness of your music, but it really adds a good full-bodied low end.  It's the only player I will use my PK2's on anymore.  The Vibe gives those headphones a good amount of bass to go along with the huge sound stage!

So do you think in terms of overall SQ that the vibe is better with Fullsound enabled, or disabled? Beside the vibe, do you own any other budget players?? xD
How do the vibes compare to a J3? or something popular on this forum?

Actually I prefer the fullsound on for sure!!!  It makes my PK2's and my Grado SR60i's really sound great IMO.  I think the Clip Zip is a good player...the Fuze+ sounds really good, but I think I saw that you don't have access to Sansa products.  I also think that the newest generation shuffle is a very good sounding player.  A little on the warm side, but I think it rates as high as any ipod player out there.   The J3 I cannot speak of but am thinking about getting one.  I would say that the J3 might have the ability to sound better than the Philips because it has so many available tweaks in the EQ.  But the Vibe is about 1/3 the price too!
