What Amp are you using for your Grados ($500 budget)

Hi everyone,

Wanted to poll the Grado lovers for the type of amp that they are using.  In reading through multiple threads I have heard people mention the following amps:

Little Dot 1+

Schiit lyr

O2

RA1

Violetric

Mad Ear +

My budget is about $500.  I want something to fill out and warm up the Grados.  I have the SR60i's but am going to soon be upgrading to the RS2i or RS1i.

Can you please tell me what amp you are using and what you have found about it in relation to the Grado sound.

Thanks!!!

Thanks guys for the feedback.

I will have to read up more on the Sheer Audio HA006+ and ++.

I need to research more of the differences.  I really appreciate it.

The Singlepower MPX SLAM is too expensive for me!

Really you don't need an amp. Grado's are super efficient and don't require much amping. If anything even a basic Little-Dot 1 is enough and it's well under $200. Then again the NFB-12.1 from Audio-GD is plenty. You don't need to spend $500 on an amp for your Grado's.
