I'm looking to replace my AKG K702 with the Beyer DT990. My current amp is the WA6. I know that the 600ohm version requires a bit more power. Does anyone have this setup and could provide some input on whether this amp has enough juice for the 600ohm version? Maybe also provide some input on how this setup sounds? Thank you in advance!

Overall excellent buds, very good sound quality, especially for their price, the medium set of tips fits exactly in my ears and provides a near perfect seal. Bass is very detailed, but not...

Beyer DT990 (600ohm) and WooAudio 6 amp
I'm currently using the e9 + e17 from FiiO with my DT990 600 and i love how they sound. Knowing Woo Audio makes products on a whole different level of quality and engineering i would assume your Woo Audio 6 should have absolutely no problem driving the DT990 600.

Thumbs up from me - I've spent some time with this setup and I quite like how the general signature
of the 600's comes forward a bit - a good match, particularly if you roll over to the nicer tubes down
the track like the Sophia Princess 274B and 6GL7's.
Just rockin' some Brian Bromberg with this setup right now, I reckon it's a better match than
with my V200 - good Prat and punch. Do it man.
