New Headphones - Bass Heavy - under £100

Hi, new to all the headphones and stuff...only 13 so wouldnt know much. My sennheiser cx300ii recently broke on me and Im looking for similar IEM's. The bass on them was near enough spot on. A little more or a little less shouldnt bother. Im looking at better sound quality overall, as an increase on the cx300ii's. I have had my eye on the following;

1. Sennheiser cx 870

2. sennheiser cx880

3. sennheiser cx400ii

4. HiFi Man Re-Zero

5. Audio Technica ath-anc23

6. Audio Technica ath-cks55

7. Etymotic MC5

8. Monster Cable Lil' Jamz Multilingual

9. AKQ Q350

Other than these I dont have much of a clue. I have gathered these from various other threads etc. but can't make anything between them. Which is best and have I missed any IEM's out??

I also like the style of the Audio Technica's. The way the bud sits in and on your ear. Any comments or advice would be apreciated however I am not interested in buying any amplifiers at all. The price limit is £100 BUT i would much prefer around the £65 mark.

Thanks

Ultimate Ears TF10 on amazon.co.uk for 109 pounds. But I'm afraid they may be a little bit too big for you, depends on your ears smily_headphones1.gif

Bass Heavy, but I'm not all for bass, same amount as the cx300 but can be less. Would like more though than V-moda's IEM's

And to the point of some models being to big. I am a tall, old 13 year old. adult height etc. So majority of IEM's would be sutiable.

The Yanaha EPH100, Klipsch X10i, Turbine Pro Gold, JVC FX500, HSA Crystal and Sony EX600 are very good sounding and they isolate well.

The turbine and klipsh are well out my budget......not heard about the others though...

The Etymotic MC5 is probably the best isolator on the list, however it doesn't have great bass.  The Soundmagic E10 might be what you are looking for. another to consider is the  meelectronics M21. For even more detail and less bass is meelectronics CW31. I guess also the Koss KDX200 should be considered.

Yes, and TF10 are quite bass heavy, you don't need to correct me.

LOL, someone must be some kind of super-duper-ultra-mega-bass-head to think the TF10s aren't bass heavy tongue.gif  Maybe he got a bad fit...  IDK.

I am not a bass head in any means. I also have a good fit, to me they dont come off as bass heavy. My Image S4 did.

LOL, I ws just giving you a hard time :p  It's cool, to each their own :)  Maybe it's the heightened treble that didn't make them seem as bass heavy as they actually were.

Its all good. I agree they can be bright sometimes. I even had the treble down when I was using the EQ. Now I am not using the EQ and they have seemed to calm down a bit with tip changes and some burn in and a different cable.
