Does anyone do modding services?

Thread Starter

I just ordered the ATH M50 and wanted to mod it because of the cable issues. Are there any members here that do it for a fee and that have reviews from other members?

I wanted the cable detachment mod

Well, it is the D. I. Y. forum, what skills are you lacking? For the price of having someone do it you could gain some gear and skills. I'm not familiar with this mod but it can't be much more than having a soldering iron/solder, drilling a couple holes and adding the needed plugs and sockets can it? People are often funny about time, they'll waste a ton of it on the internet but then when it comes to being paid and having to deal with all the fiddly things like setting it up, receiving, performing, shipping, dealing with customer service issues, etc, the larger part of doing a mod like this isn't doing the mod, it's all the grunt work.

I don't mean to deter you but I'm just suggesting that may be why over a day after the post, there are no bites.
