24/96 Rock & Metal?

Does anyone know of any place that sells 24/96 copies of rock or metal albums? All the sites such as HDTracks have at most a token Metallica album. Assuming that no site has invested in uploading such albums, would the only other option be to find an LP or SACD of, for example, System of a Down and rip it to 24/96?

My apologies if this has already been answered in the threads, but nothing close to the mark came up on my initial searches. Thanks!

Go search for HMV on TPB. You're welcome. (It stands for home made vinyl, the guy rips all sorts of music from vinyl to 24bit 96khz flac, he takes requests, search for the previously mentioned name on facebook and post a request)

You can't rip SACDs unless you have an early Playstation 3 with SACD playback. You can rip DVD-Audio discs though.

So I take it the only viable option is to torrent such tracks or buy a SACD player, since no one has invested in trying to sell 24/96 copies commercially? BTW thanks for the help guys.

There's not a whole lot of point to high bitrate sound for home listening, and even less reason for it with music that doesn't have an exceptionally large dynamic range. Redbook would sound the same.
