I currently have:

-Audio-Technica ATH-PRO700MK2, but I probably have to get rid of them because they hurt my head a lot.

-"iBeats" that came with my phone, the Htc Rezound

Does it squeeze too tight or is it the headband?

If it's squeezing too much just stretch it over the packaging or some DVD/game cases =]

Both. I stretched it overnight twice, and it's used, and still no results. I have a little of a bigger head size.

Took about a week+ when I had my athm50. Had them stretched while burning in when not used. Eventually they became comfortable lol
