I'm sorry i don't mean to be demanding. I'll be a lot more patient in the future. Based on what you guys have said I think I'm going to stick with the Beyer's, but if I find simarly priced Dennon's I MIGHT go with them just based on what atomiknoob said. Thanks so much everyone!!

The mids were about the same but the highs on the D2000 were lacking compared to the DT150. DT150 also has a wider soundstage compared to the D2000.

Explains why i still have the DT150 and not the D2000.

What type of music do you listen to?

I think you'll be perfectly fine with the Beyers. They're well-built, great-sounding with everything, beat the D2000 at higher ranges, and are more defined all-around.

same here.

and what price are you looking at for the denons? cuz they have them for $200 open box at electronic expo/amazon.
i bought mine from j&r for 240 cuz i like boxes. but. whatever you can get, get it. (i prefer getting things my brain/mind/heart tell me to)

if it turns out you're not happy with the beyers, you know where to turn to :-P

good luck with your purchase.

Thanks, I've looked at electronic expo, but they say they're sold out and on amazon they're like 280 something. If electronic expo gets them back in stock I might cancel my other order.

I listen to instrumental, classical, rap, rock, techno, dub step, hip hop.

If there's a good tune to the song i'll like it.

Considering the first two genres of music, I think the DT150 is a better choice. You can listen to it without EQ for those genres, then crank up the bass to your liking for hip hop and techno.

That wasn't my post, I primarily listen to rap. Mostly late 80's to early 2000's, but some newer stuff too.

I found a pair of Denon's for 192 open box. Does anyone with the beyer's listen to the type of music I listen to? Also has anyone with the D2000's had problems with the screw? Also to the people with Beyers, do the mids/vocals sound unnatural or overly analytical
