The DT150 would have more intricate detail (an analytical sound), but the D2000 would be better in the bass department because that's what it's designed for.

Would the dt150 beat it at vocals?

I would say yes, but yet again I don't have much experience with the D2K and either way, everyone has a different view of "good" vocal presentation.

Could the bass boost from my e11 amp match or beat the denon's at bass? Would it sound unnatural or make them sound muddy? What about using the beyers with a digizoid zo2 amp? Also is there any risk of damaging them if I combine the digizoid with an e11 amp?

I think that the Beyers would have good detail at any bass boost (unless you go crazy with it), so there should be no problems. I don't have an E11, but I know that the Beyers should do fine unless somebody with an E11 contradicts me.

I already have the dt 150's on back order so it's not that simple. :/. The Denon's will be around 70 more than the 150's unless you know a better place to get them.

I've also heard that the denon's have problems with screws breaking.

I had the D2000 and DT150 but in the end the DT150 was a better headphone overall. Bass for both weren't that different but the DT150 was tighter and faster which was something i liked about it. The mids were about the same but the highs on the D2000 were lacking compared to the DT150. DT150 also has a wider soundstage compared to the D2000.

Explains why i still have the DT150 and not the D2000.

get the denons. i have them.

those same artists you listed? i looove them.

minus dre. not my type of artist.

i'm a biiig fan of lyrical dexterity. but back on topic.

you won't go wrong with the denons.

but. as an added note. i'm biased. have never heard the dt150s

You bump your thread so often, after like an hour even when it's still on the first page.
You're so impatient, and you expect so much of the other members.
