Big bass, jet plane loud, around 200$

  Hey guys! 

 

So my friend is new to the whole audio thing (he owns beats) and his old phones are actually dying. He is partially deaf (probably because he likes his music so loud :D) and all he wants is  super loud with massive base. He can also buy speakers but I'm thinking headphones are the better option. Here is the part that might be tricky. They have to be able to work fine with macs (on board audio, ect.) but we may be starting a build of a pc that has a audio card (maybe even an amp) that runs mac OS, so ideally they would benefit from amping and the audio card. Oh and did I mention that they have to be loud? 

 

TL:DR I need loud headphones with big bass that work well in all conditions for around 200$ (can be more if it will be significantly better)

Just get some XB500s with a zo personal subwoofer amp.

Ouch, he'd probably be completely deaf after a year. But that would be the bassiest and loudest possible I believe. I have to use 11% volume in windows with normal listening volumes with ZO2 in high gain + XB500, I bet one could probably knock himself unconscious when used ZO + XB500 with high enough volume with max bass boost level. xD I tried once using the max bass boost lvl on ZO + XB500 on a bassy song with low volume listening and well at a certain part of the song it made me feel physically ill/dizzy for a sec or two from the bass pressure, that was like having 2x8" subs strapped to your ears.

Yeah some people like that stuff I suppose.  More power to the guy if he wants to go deaf.

In this case I think the best thing to do is to try and save what hearing your friend has left instead of helping him destroy it further.
