How Do I Wire This

I purchased a female 3.5mm plug to install in my A700s. I need to know how to wire it up so I can use an external cable. Anyone done this before?

I should add, the wire colors if you can't see them are copper, red, and blue. I am leaving in the connector to the right side and everything. I just need to know what the 3 tabs on the female 3.5mm plug are in relation to the 3 wires on the A700. Thanks!

 

EDIT: I found some data sheets and other stuff while crawling the web that say Left: Blue, Red: Right, Copper: Ground and that the 3 tabs on the female jack are, short, tall, short tab, Right, Left Ground.

its seem, you need solder the cooper wire with the big tap(is ground tap),the red and blue wire connect with the other 2 small tap (the L annd R channel), gud luck

Yep, you'll need to solder. Check out YouTube for helpful videos and Google for A700 mods. Hopefully someone's experience can save your time and money.
