Ibasso Dx100 bugs to fix or features to add : Please tell us what you want to fix or add - Page 15

In addition, whenever i place my microSD card in, the player just freezes, and everything seems to crash, and i get many errors saying that services are not responding. This is silly. I spent more time trying to fix the device than listening to music, What's the point?

Not sure if you registered the device etc when you first bought it, as it will automatically try and sync even when wifi is off.....a lot of battery resources are utilized.....just a thought.

If you are having problems with SD cards, then more than likely the filing of your DX100 isn't done too well...

Could very well be that your tags are dirty and cluttered. I've posted on how to clean them up and getting everything running smoothly. This is nothing new to any DAP out there. If the tags aren't done right you can and will run into problems (Sansa Fuze, ipod etc).

When you insert the microSD card, the player scans the card, indexing all the music. This will take a few minutes, during which time the media service will hog all resources, making other apps crash or hang. Insert the card, give it 10 minutes to index everything, then move along. That's not a bug (even though it is annoying), that's just how it works.

Thank you everyone for your kind replies. I was so frustrated i just reset everything to factory settings and viola, the freezing stopped, for now that is. The insanely quick battery drain and high temperature still plagues my unit though

high temperature is normal, just dont plug the dx100 while playing for a long time as it tends to make the dx100 really warm. its not 72 hours lol maybe on standby it "can" reach up to 72 hours but i doubt. when playing songs its only around 7-8 hours with most excess running programs disabled or turned off.

I play mine while charging. It has been going for around 8 or 9 hours now. Barely warm. A lot of it depends upon how hot it is where you are and how much current is demanded by the headphones being used.

jamato8 I've noticed something with this as well on the DX100. It seems when I select playall music and just let it play through it barely gets warm at all. But if I'm using the device and switching through songs on my playlists it gets quite hot.... I'm also curious is Standby may also be contributing to the problem....
