Headphone Noob save me from beats... Need help

Ok. So I've become pretty interested in headphones lately. I've had beats solo's, studio's, then pro's. The pros are by far the clear winner. I like the bass and the fact that you can feel the "thump". I also like their looks. But they are not comfortable by any means. Any suggestions on some over ear headphones that look good and sound better than the with the same amount of bass as the pros under $400?

edit:

I want a cable with one cord in one earcup and I don't really want to use and amplifier .
