I made somewhat of an impulse buy on some grado sr60s since the price was decent and I wanted to try them. I've since bought and been very happy with another pair of phones and will be needing to get rid of the grados sometime soon. Since the cables are a little twisted and the ear pads are fading, I was thinking a recable would be fun and the new ear pads would make it easier to sell and hopefully fetch a higher price.
Should I sell as is or upgrade as mentioned? I'd hope to get out of them what I will have put in, about 75 bucks. Would you see yourself paying that for recable sr60s with new pads? I know that's around what they are new so it might be tough getting that. I don't want to do this and then lose money, but I really enjoy the recable process. Thoughts?
